Matt. 13:58 reads “And he (Jesus) did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.” The simple fact is that our faith directly affects the workings of the Lord! He chooses to work though us. We tend to think of our faith growing because of miraculous answers to prayer, but the opposite is true. Answers to prayer occur as a result of our faith! This teaching is seen over and over again through out the bible. We must first step out in belief and trust in God and then he chooses to act.

What’s pressing your on heart? What miraculous answers to prayer are you in need of? Step out in faith and put your trust in God! Maybe God is waiting for you to take that step in faith! Matthew 17 20 reads “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” In my book Ultimate Connection, I speak of those times when each of us comes to a kind of fork in our prayer lives. We choose to either step out in faith and believe God to work the impossible in a situation or we will walk in unbelief and limit what can be done because of our lack of faith.

God has mighty things in store for you today! Never let it be said that he did not do miracles because of your lack of faith! Jeremiah 32:27 reads “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
